What are oriental cockroaches?
The oriental cockroach is a large cockroach species that is commonly found in Georgia and many parts of the country.
Like American cockroaches, Oriental roaches are an occasional invader and will enter homes and businesses from the outside.
You will find them in damp basements, under sinks and in washing machines. Adults grow up to 1 inch in length and are a shiny dark brown
color. Females have a wide body and short wings, males have a more narrow body and longer wings but neither can fly.
Are oriental cockroaches dangerous?
Oriental cockroaches can cause harm to humans. They feed and live in areas that harbor dangerous bacteria such as sewers, garbage disposals,
bathrooms and dumpsters. Cockroaches will carry the bacteria from these areas on their bodies and will contaminate your food
